ADHD: Social Club to Support Each Other and Learn to Celebrate Our Fancy Brains!

Let's love who we are! We will meet weekly to socialize and chat about what makes our brains so special. We'll discuss strategies we have applied during the week, as well as something that was only possible due to our fancy ADHD brain!

I have ADHD. I am married to a husband with ADHD, and we have a son with ADHD. I have firsthand experience as to what strategies will be effective for many scenarios. Additionally, as a certified teacher for over 17 years, I have implemented numerous individualized learning plans to aide learners with their ADHD in class. I am also a guest writer and blogger for a worldwide distributed ADHD magazine. I am deeply passionate about neurodiversity, and strive to help all learners love and understand what makes their brain so special!
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
The topic of ADHD can be of sensitive nature, as ADHD can cause challenges socially, academically, and emotionally. Some topics may need to be further discussed and explored after the class, if your learner is still in need of processing time. The ultimate goal of the class is to build self-awareness, gain strategies, share successes, and make friends. I hope to see your learner in class!
