February 7: How to communicate with others February 14: Emotional Cues February 21: Body language and communication February 28: Self-talk During each session, students will be encouraged to share some of their favorite things and discuss games, hobbies, and school activities. Additional topics will be determined based on the group's interests and hobbies. If needed, we will break out into groups. At the beginning of class, students will receive a link to NEARPOD, an interactive platform that allows students to input their answers and communicate with the whole class in real-time. We will discuss that week's topic, play games, and have free discussion time where students can share their favorite things and socialize. Students can plan to interact with one another and the teacher for the entire class. We may sometimes build off the energy of the class and change the discussion as questions and ideas come up. No experience is required. Any medical or therapy sessions should be discussed with a medical professional.
