Class Experience

Beginner Level
Welcome! We are going to cover everything from impulsive behavior, overstimulation, interrupting, blurting out answers, and comments , to losing track of time and responsibilities. I am also covering the strengths and amazing characteristics of ADHD.

*I have added an additional video that is all about interrupting. Now there are seven videos in total.

I created this class about ADHD to cover the topics, situations and behaviors that the majority of the families I teach have had issues with. When people think about ADHD, the first thing I hear is not sitting still, impulsive, disrespectful, etc. Now we are going to explore what is really happening. I know it is hard to sit, listen and absorb for a LONG period of time.ย Keeping this in mind, each video is between 6-10 minutes. I want to pack as much information as possible into each video while still keeping it at a length where students can watch, learn, and adopt the techniques for each lesson as well as use the discussion posts to find new ways to think about choices we make.

A little caveat, I do talk fast in the videos. I highly encourage you to allow your child to watch them more than once. I know it is hard for some to sit through even a few minutes and that is alright. Start and stop as many times as you need.
