ADHD and Me (Elementary) – Semester course ADHD and Me Semester course built for supporting learnings with enjoyable activities for focus, confidence, emotions, self-control and more. This curriculum is created for the Pre-teen students and was created as a semester course after requests from Parents that had great success with High-Five Summer Camp. Learning Objectives and Goals: Students will identify resources that facilitate academic success and social functioning Students will develop new self-awareness and self-management skills to achieve. Students will use art techniques for creative thinking and self-awareness. Students will have the opportunity to visually express emotions or feelings through drawing and color. Students will practice speaking and presenting skills as they share their creations with the class. Students will create / use a HW/calendar Journal Students will Identify tools to manage time better. Students will describe emotions associated with specific experiences Students will identify factors that cause stress both positive and negative Students will evaluate ways of dealing with upsetting situations

I have over 11 years in the standard classroom setting (K-12) and over 2 years ESL online teaching. I have been honored to be a special education director, dean of students and work as a trainer of other district staff at the state department level. Areas of specialty: Special education [Autism-Asperger (social & communication), ADHD, and SLD], Art - (fine art classes, studio art & art therapy), Fashion design (sewing technique & couture training).
