The teacher will review strategies for following written directions and give suggestions to help students get clarification when they do not understand verbal directions. Students will practice listening comprehension skills by responding when key words are read in an age appropriate magazine article. Students will learn how to explain their challenges with directions to the adults in their lives and receive some suggestions for self advocacy.
