Description

Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Students will learn about themselves and how to accept themselves as they are. They will learn about the strengths and struggles that come with ADHD and ADD. They will learn strategies to help them through these struggles and learn how to focus on their strengths.
Mrs. Ali has been working with children for 11 years. Being a teacher, she has worked with over 500 students with neurodiversities, helping them learn how to succeed. As both a person with ADHD/ADD and a parent of a child with ADHD/ADD she has first hand experience of what ADHD/ADD looks like from both a child's perspective and the parents' perspective. She has practiced many different strategies with a variety of students, herself, and her child and has compiled a great many resources to help neurodiverse children.
Students may wish to have a journal to keep track of their learning and growth. However, this is optional.
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
