CLASS TITLE ADHD: Foundations of Executive Functioning Skills for the Neurodiverse Learner PARENT SUMMARY Join me for a 10 week course for the ADHD learner where we will create success strategies while we learn what Executive Functions are and how they relate to ADHD. DESCRIPTION 🌟 Join us for a fun and engaging course where students in grades 3-7 are introduced to the brain science of ADHD and Executive Functions. We delve into six of these important brain functions, relating them to a school-age student’s ADHD challenges. We test out solutions and strategies along the way. The student walks away with a foundational knowledge about ADHD and executive functions and has learned common vocabulary that they can use to communicate about their ADHD needs with the adults in their lives. Is your upper elementary child starting to stress about school as the workload gets bigger? Is your child having difficulty staying organized both at school and at home? Does your child forget what would seem to be easy to master content? Learning how their ADHD may contribute to these challenges and finding targeted solutions to try out may make all the difference for them. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please refer to the Syllabus for the course outline.
