In this self-paced course we will learn all the skills necessary to add fractions with unlike denominators. The skills that will be taught and review include: understanding multiples, finding the least common multiple, factoring numbers, finding the greatest common factor, and simplifying fractions. I will provide an optional assignment for each lesson.

Lesson 3:
Adding Fractions Part 1
This lesson is about putting all the previous skills together to going step by step on how to add fractions with unlike denominators.
Lesson 4:
Adding Fractions Part 2
This lesson is about practicing how to add fractions with unlike denominators.

Pre-Requisites
The student should know basic multiplication and have a basic knowledge of fraction foundations.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Teacher expertise and credentials
I have been teaching grades 1st-5th since 2016 instructing on all subjects consisting of: math, reading, history, science, spelling, and grammar. I also have masters course work in elementary education. I have also been an online teacher since summer of 2023.
