In this supportive and engaging math class, learners will explore two- and three-digit addition and subtraction with regrouping and borrowing. No prior experience with these specific skills is required—just a solid foundation in basic addition and subtraction.

Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where children feel safe, encouraged, and excited about learning math. This open-ended class allows students to learn at their own pace, ask questions, and discover their preferred learning style.

What to Expect:
Day One: Getting Comfortable with Regrouping
We’ll start by reviewing the basic concepts of addition and subtraction in a fun and accessible way. Then, we’ll introduce regrouping with two- and three-digit numbers. Learners are encouraged to ask questions, and I’ll support their understanding with open-ended discussions and hands-on examples.

Day Two: Borrowing Made Fun
We’ll begin by reviewing the concepts learned on Day One and answering any questions that may have come up. Then we’ll explore subtraction with borrowing—often the most exciting part of the class! We'll start with two-digit problems and progress to three-digit problems as students become more confident. I’ll provide step-by-step guidance and make space for creativity and discovery along the way.
