Class Experience
This one-on-one tutoring class will be customized to the student's needs. Students do not need to have taken the PSAT, ACT, or SAT. However, if they have, it would be helpful to know their scores. For the ACT English and PSAT/SAT writing and language portion, we will focus on highly-tested skills. Students will learn test-taking strategies for highly-tested SAT/ACT English and Reading skills.
I've taught high school English for 9 years. I've been an ACT/SAT tutor for 4 years.
Students may work on passages outside of class if desired. We can review the questions during the session.
At the end of each session, we will briefly review the concepts we covered, including test-taking tips.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
