What will be taught?
In this class, you'll learn fun and easy exercises that help you get stronger, faster, and get active! We'll work on movements like jumping, stretching, and balancing—everything you can do to feel awesome.

What topics will you cover?
We'll focus on building strength, burning energy, and improving your coordination. You'll learn about body movement, fitness, and how to have fun while staying active.

How is your class structured?
Each class is 30 minutes long and split into quick, exciting exercises. We start with a warm-up and stretching, followed by the circuit (a mix of different activities), and finish with a cool-down and some breathing to help your body relax.

How will you teach?
I will guide you through each exercise with clear instructions and demonstrations, making sure you understand what to do. You’ll be moving around and learning while having a lot of fun!

What's your teaching style?
I keep things fun, positive, and energetic! I encourage everyone to do their best and make sure the class is engaging, safe, and supportive for everyone. Hands on and jumping all in is my favorite way to teach!

How much will learners get to interact with you?
You'll get to interact with me a lot! I’ll give you feedback, cheer you on, and answer any questions you have. I'm also here to model each and every thing we do. We'll also do some fun games to practice what you’ve learned, and I’ll always be there to help.

Learning Goals

Build Strength and Coordination: By the end of the class, kids will be able to perform simple exercises like squats, push-ups, and jumping jacks with proper form, improving their overall strength and coordination.
Increase Energy and Stamina: Students will develop the ability to engage in a full 30-minute workout, boosting their energy levels and stamina while having fun and staying motivated.

Parental Guidance
Safety Precautions: Kids will be encouraged to listen to their bodies and take breaks when needed. We’ll emphasize proper warm-up and cool-down which include breathing + stretching to prevent injury. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear. A water bottle should be nearby for water breaks throughout our class! Physical Limitations: If a child has any physical limitations or injuries, please inform me beforehand so we can adapt exercises as needed to ensure their safety and comfort.
Supply List
Students will need a water bottle for our water breaks.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hi! My name is Macey Martin. I have clinical experience as a student teacher, substitute teacher, tutor, and dance & fitness instructor. I have worked at a dance studio, babysat, and been in the classroom, so I have lots of experience with students of every age and setting! My experience with children started about 5 years ago when I was 16, babysitting, and has grown ever since. I’m now attending college to get my dual degree in Early Childhood & Elementary Education, and will be graduating next year!
