1 live meeting
50 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
We will start class with a hello song and introductions where students can either show us or tell us about something they like to do for fun. We will then play games throughout the rest of the class. The number of games played may vary from group to group depending on group size and how long each game takes. Because of this games may vary but may include the following: Simon Says, freeze dance, follow the leader, animal dance party, security guard, and color hunt (this is a game where students take turns picking the color we are looking for and they run to find and bring back something of that color). All of my classes are inclusive, this means that students of all abilities are welcome. If your student has any needs I should be aware of or needs any accommodation please let me know before class so we can work together to ensure the best possible class experience.

Teacher expertise and credentials
My name is Gabrielle, I started teaching sewing lessons when I was a homeschool senior. I taught classes at a local home school group and discovered I had a passion for teaching. When I was 19 I discovered I was most likely autistic and was able to get an official diagnosis at 21. For me, this was a revelation and explained so much. It meant I was able to seek out others like me and was a huge game-changer for me.
For over 10 years now I have been teaching in different capacities and working with children with different disabilities and differences. I have been an in-home caregiver for a physically disabled child, a preschool teacher, a teacher's aid, a tutor and have been teaching online since January 2020. I also have an Associates' degree in special education.
I am proud to be autistic. This doesn't mean I don't have struggles but I firmly believe that we all have strengths and weaknesses. I strive to give all of my students a safe and welcoming place. All of my classes are inclusive which means students of all abilities are welcome. If your student needs any accommodations please let me know and we will work together to ensure the best possible class experience.
