Class Experience

Join us as we multiply, divide, subtract and add, you’ll see that math isn’t really all that bad. Have your child unleash their inner mathematician with this awesome and exciting class using basic items and materials from home transformed into engaging labs!
 
In this class, we will use a project based learning activity with M’n’Ms to deepen our understanding of fractions. Each class meeting, we will use movements, songs, hands on and real-life situations to guide students through navigating...

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Dowling College in Oakdale, New York and attained a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida.

I have been teaching various grades in a Public School System since 2004. I have won awards for my implementation of CANVAS technology in the classroom and was vital in the transition to a virtual school environment during the 2020 COVID-19 outbreak. In addition, I have been a nominee for Teacher of the Year and a Candidate for entry into the LEAD Program on the path to become an Assistant Principal.

Aside from my work in the public-school system, I also teach Homeschooled children via virtual setting. I feel that the best part of being a teacher is getting to see the children connect all the dots as they learn and grow.
