Acting with Games Workshop will focus on using fun, interactive acting games and activities as a means of introducing basic acting to children aged 6-11. No previous acting experience is required - only an enthusiasm for having fun. The three class sessions will include: Class One: The Name Game, The Magic Box, Machines and Animals, Charades Class Two: Photograph, Story Play, Becoming A Character Class Three: "Excuse Me, What Are You Doing?" and the Speech Game With the completion of each...
Learning Goals will include: 1. Deeper knowledge with basic acting techniques 2. Improved communication skills 3. Improved comfort with speaking in groups
No homework is required.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No formal assessment will be made. Daniel will provide feedback for areas in which improvement can be made and will make himself open to questions.
