In this 8 week online course, we will create our own Zoom play! We will create characters, relationships and an entire world where these characters can live. It is not necessary to have taken my Acting Scene Study 1 class

Description

Class Experience

This will be an 8 week course in which we create our very own zoom play! I will guide you and encourage play and improvisation, along with discussion and brainstorming with your peers. Then, based on your brainstorming/improv sessions, I will provide a scene (or 2 scenes) for every student. I will make sure that everyone has scenes that interconnect so that we truly do create one big theatrical world of a play!


WEEKS 1 & 2

We will use the first two weeks to develop characters and learn...

Students will learn to take ownership of their artistic talent and create, write and act in a full length play!

Students will need to learn lines and practice their scenes so that they feel secure and confident in their role in the play.

55 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
