Class Experience
In this course, we will work on various performance skills. Prior to the class, we will discuss the area of acting that you would like to focus on. Are you getting ready for college auditions? Want to create your own show? Do you want to create and perform your own monologue? The possibilities are endless. We will cover speaking, character analysis, actions, objectives, and how to become a professional actor. These lessons are designed to fit your needs. We will begin the class with a few...
Students will learn theatrical terminology and professional performance skills.
Students should come to class prepared with the material discussed prior to the lesson.
Students will be provided a list of monologues and other materials for performance.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
