This class will work on specific acting goals like script breakdown, memorization, monologue or scene, or audition preparation. The student with an audition or scene they want to prepare is welcome to use this hour to focus on that. The student is also welcome to request the teacher to cover a specific acting subject of their interest such as voice training, If the student does not have particular material and prefers to leave it up to the teacher, this is what we will cover in class: *acting warm-up exercises *script breakdown, analysis, and reading *audition technique *building a character *working the scene with a partner or reader *The business side of acting ---- *When taking an acting class, participation is important. Ms. Lambert is a professional actress (SAG-AFTRA) with on-camera experience as well as theater. Her training is on the classic Stanislavsky Acting Method, which she has developed in a personal way to apply it to young actors classes, so they are easy and enjoyable.
