Class Experience

Kids will be taught the fundamentals of acting on camera, including facial expressions, voice control, body language, and scene interpretation. They will also learn script reading, character development, and performance techniques.

In each class, students can expect interactive lessons, creative exercises, and plenty of opportunities to practice in front of the camera. We'll start with engaging warm-ups and games to loosen up, followed by guided practice on key acting techniques. There’s no need for prior acting experience—just a willingness to have fun and learn!

Students will gain a solid understanding of the unique demands of on-camera acting, from how to project emotions to subtle techniques that help performances stand out on screen. I believe in creating a supportive, inclusive environment where each child can build their confidence and grow at their own pace.

We will cover a range of topics, including:
- Camera presence and on-screen techniques
- Acting in different genres (comedy, drama, etc.)
- Memorization and delivering lines
- Improvisation and creative storytelling
- Confidence building and teamwork in scenes

The class will be structured into short lessons, followed by hands-on activities and practice sessions. Each session will start with a warm-up, introduce a new concept, and then involve role-play or on-camera acting practice.

The class will be taught through interactive activities, games, and role-playing exercises. We will incorporate video examples and practical demonstrations.

The teaching style is fun, engaging, and supportive, with a strong focus on encouraging creativity and building confidence. The environment is open and collaborative, where kids feel comfortable experimenting with their acting and making mistakes as they grow.

Learners will get to interact with me through discussions, guided activities, and individual feedback. Interaction will include:
- Active participation in games and acting exercises
- Group discussions on characters and performances
- Direct feedback after each in class performance

Profile
Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi there! I'm a professional actress with a BFA in Performing Arts and extensive experience in film, television, commercials, and theater. With a passion for storytelling, I bring diverse characters to life on screen and stage. I've worked with children worldwide, teaching acting techniques that build confidence, creativity, and communication skills. Through workshops, classes, and mentoring, I have empowered countless kids to express themselves, discover their talents, and pursue their dreams, all while having fun in the world of performance.

You can see me in one of my movies that was filmed in Budapest, Hungary called Born Again on Amazon Prime. I play the lead role in it. I also appeared alongside Matt Damon in The Martian when I was pregnant with my son. You can even see my name in the credits. Look for Waleska in the credits. That is the name that I always use. One of the biggest commercials that I appeared in was a Kellogg's Cereal commercial that was filmed for the Australian market.

There are many more projects that I worked in, but I listed a few to give you some information on my background. I look forward to working with your child :)
