Read the more than 300+ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ five star reviews here: https://outschool.com/classes/theatre-for-kids-improv-acting-team-games-with-boundless-reach-14sMglhg In this fun improv starter class, with a focus on quick decision-making, collaboration, and exploring their boundless creativity, your learner will learn the basics of accepting the unexpected, actively listening, and being willing to take risks so they can quickly discover that there is no such thing as failure in this class and therefore gain the tenacity and desire to face greater challenges and ultimately succeed with joy. Your learner will step into the spotlight immediately, playing fun but challenging games, acting lively characters and creating hilariously zany scenes in far-off fantasy worlds. Through laughter and imagination, they’ll discover how to let go, breakdown barriers, and build confidence—all while having an absolute blast! This beginner-friendly class is the perfect starting point for curious learners, first-time actors, or anyone wondering, “What even is improv?” https://outschool.com/classes/2419134f-58b2-4ff7-9c72-84ac14efa302/schedule Each class begins with an energizing warm-up (make sure they have room to move!) and a group game to get the ideas flowing. From there, we dive into core improv skills with fun exercises that explore active listening, making and accepting offers, character creation, and imagining unique settings. Finally, we end with your learner’s choices: a lively competitive sports-style theatre challenge or a group activity. In either case, everyone gets a turn. Does your learner dream of creating their own stories, tackling challenges on the fly, or building the confidence to think and act in the moment? Enroll today to start their journey! Parental Guidance
I make best efforts to avoid politics and religion but sooner or later a student will cast him or herself in the role of a religious leader or famous politician, or set a scene in a church or the Whitehouse etc. This is drama and make-believe and it is important to the process to let their imaginations open up. That being said, while I maintain a safe zone of inclusivity for all faiths and ideologies, hate speech, prejudice or cyber bullying will not be allowed and parents will be notified.
