Hello, I'm Caroline Donica! For the past eleven years, I have taught acting to students as a private tutor and at a variety of children’s theaters and programs. I have extensive experience in the performing arts and am still working as a professional actress, signed with STW Talent in Atlanta, GA. I have been employed as a director, music director, choreographer, and instructor for children ages 6-18. My courses included acting for the stage and screen, acting styles, stage combat, choreography, Shakespeare techniques, improvisation, and more. In my theatre classes, I taught a variety of techniques including Stanislavsky, Meisner, Uta Hagen, and more. We worked on learning theatre history and conversed about how we could contribute to the theatrical future. Additionally, I privately tutored applicants in their applications and auditions for performing arts programs and universities. Theatre requires truth, courage, and vulnerability. When teaching the performing arts, I place an emphasis on diverse techniques and styles. I work to provide access across multiple platforms to reach as many students as possible. I encourage students to challenge themselves through a growth mindset. My teaching philosophy embraces collaboration, individuality, and imagination. I strive to provide a fun, energetic learning environment.
