This class will give you the opportunity to learn the techniques and skills required to be a confident actor.
Class experience
This is an acting class that will give the student the opportunity to expand their understanding of different acting techniques. This is a student-led class! The student could be a beginning actor or an advanced. I will be sure to build the curriculum around them. As an educator, I aim to create a classroom environment that inspires students to be brave and make choices. I teach multiple techniques such as Chekhov, Meisner, and Hagen. In each class, there will be a short reading assigned....

I am a performer and educator living in Las Vegas! I have my bachelors, masters, and soon my doctorate in opera performance. I have performed with opera and theatre companies all over the world. I have taught with three different universities and have led classes in acting, voice, theory, and movement. I love performing but I love teaching even more! I try to always lead each class with patience, and compassion and cultivate a brave space for a student to be curious and grow as a performer.

There is no supply list but I do recommend printing the articles and scenes I share every week.
The plays read will always be announced on the Outschool page but some plays may consist of concepts that might be advanced for some younger actors. I will always give trigger warnings, and let the students and parents know before every lesson if there will be violence or mature content in the play.
I will provide all the readings and plays for every class.
