Acting Camp - Interactive Theatre and Acting Skills
In this 4 week class, we will be going through monologues and scenes while performing for the other students in class. Plan to have some fun, gain confidence, and learn a lot!

For 4 weeks we will be digging into the acting world. Each student will gain knowledge, confidence and skill. During the course of 4 weeks, students will be performing monologues and scenes. We will also play acting and improvisation games to help boost acting skills.
We will laugh together and make friends. We will learn to take constructive criticism because that is what makes us better actors.
Each class will run as follow:
-Warm up
-Improvisation or acting game
-Review of monologues/scenes
-Perform monologues/scenes
-Offer advice and constructive criticism
The first week, we will get to know the other students in class and discuss monologues and scenes and selecting the best one.
The second week, students will perform their monologues.
The third week, we will work on scenes.
The fourth week, students will practice their scenes and then perform them.
Students will be asked to memorize their monologues and scenes. If this is an issue, please let me know!
This workshop is for all skills and I hope they are ready to learn and have some fun!

Supply List
Students will be assigned a monologue and scene in class. They will also have the option of bringing their own if they would prefer it.

I majored in Broadcast Journalism and minored in Theatre at the University of Central Florida. have been acting on the stage since I was 4 years old and have done multiple things on film, including a movie and few tv shows. These include Lil Abner, The Pajama Game, A Little Mermaid, A MidSummer Nights Dream, Hoot, The Glades, and Graceland.
