Class Experience

Have you always wanted to be an actor? Are you ready to play and hone your craft? Join the fun with KellyO's International Drama Club only here on Outschool.

In this eight-week course, we will joyfully cut straight to the heart of the task of the actor. We will explore the staple of every actor's tool kit, by engaging in scene study, and monologue work. And we'll have fun! 

SESSIONS MAY GO BEYOND 60 MINUTES WHEN THE CLASS IS FULL.

Some topics we''ll explore:  

An exploration of different...

We will demystify the job of the actor, and have fun exploring different approaches actors can use to tell stories with their characters.

Memorization of scenes and monologues and working on notes given in class before the next presentation.

Please come to the first class with a 2-minute (ish) monologue to work on.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Informal assessment

1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
