Before becoming a traditional classroom teacher, I started my career in education as a homeschool teacher and tutor. I focused on the Wilson Reading Program and ACT Workshops. I lead weekly, four hour Saturday sessions and weekly, shorter sessions for students all over my city.
A one page session summary will be provided to help learners complete action plan. If learners have any previous scores (optional), they may have on hand to provide background information. For the actual session, learners will need a pen/pencil, scratch paper, and a positive attitude as we dive into the work.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
