Are you preparing to take the ACT soon? Or are you struggling to get the score you desire? This Flex Course is for you! We are going to work on basic ACT test-taking strategies that will help you succeed in taking the ACT. Learn how to manage your time, stay motivated, focused, and answer the tricky ACT questions. This is a flex course so all work will be at students own pace. Students will spend time each week learning strategies that will be helpful when taking the ACT. Students will spend time each week practicing sections of the ACT, responding to discussion board posts, and adding to a group google drive folder of resources.
Student handouts and links will be provided upon the beginning of the course.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
During the first five weeks of the course students will be taking short 10 minute section tests that allow them to practice the strategies they have learned from the video on Nearpod. During the 6th week students will take the entire section under a timed environment. They will be able to figure their ACT score based on their completed ACT practice test.
No live meetings, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
