During this 4 hour camp, students will learn strategies for excelling on all sections of the ACT. This camp includes 1 hour of instruction for each of the 4 major sections of the ACT - English, math, reading, and science.

1-2 hours per week. The teacher will assign ACT practice questions for students to complete after each class that will correspond with the material taught that day in class.Class Experience
In this ACT Prep Summer Camp, the teacher will teach strategies for answering questions on the ACT that have been developed over a decade of tutoring experience. The teacher will show students how to quickly and easily identify and eliminate incorrect answer choices and feel confident about the answer choices they select. The teacher will also teach a variety of strategies for time management, confidence, and self-care while preparing for a test. During this camp, 1 hour will be dedicated to each subject tested on the ACT (1 hour for ACT math, 1 hour for ACT reading, 1 hour for ACT English, and 1 hour for ACT science.) The teacher will use mock ACT test questions to teach and demonstrate the strategies during each class. Students will also be assigned homework to practice the skills they learn in each class.
Learning Goals
Students will learn strategies that will enable them to raise their ACT scores by as many as 4 points while developing confidence and improved test-taking skills.

Anna Caruso is the founder and owner of Caruso Prep. She has been teaching children for over 10 years and has helped over 200 students boost their SAT scores by as many as 250 points, and their ACT scores by as many as 7 points! Many of her students now attend outstanding schools including Yale, Cornell, and the U.S. Naval Academy. These results come from hundreds of hours of experience breaking down SAT and ACT problems into simple, easy-to-understand steps. Anna holds both a law degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.
