Super fun class! Are you ready to step into the Star Wars universe and become the hero or villain a story? In our weekly online acting class, you'll learn how to bring famous scenes to life with your own twist and style, making YOU the star! You'll also learn how to quickly develop characters by choosing their obstacles they need to overcome. And if you have a favourite scene you want to work on, send us a message and we'll make it happen. We'll also be doing some improvisation, where you'll work in small groups to come up with your own scenes based on Star Wars characters. And don't worry if you're new to acting - no experience is needed, and you don't have to want to be an actor to join our classes! Plus, we give immediate feedback and some fun homework to keep you learning even after class ends. Parents, we know that class sizes can vary, so we'll be sending out scripts just before class to help your child practice their cold reading skills. And if your child needs the script in advance, just send us a message.
Learning Goals
The students will learn how to engage with each other performing after their love of Star Wars. Students will be working on scenes in small groups and coming together and performing them.

Please bring to class a notebook, pencil and eraser and a water to keep you hydrated.
It is highly recommended that you have a printer for this program to print out the short scenes and or monologues. However it is not necessary, as it is good practice to have the students write out their line so it helps them memorize.

I am a HUGE Star Wars fan and have watched every movie so much I can recite some parts. Teaching you acting through this incredible saga is going to be my pleasure, so much fun and build great memories and friendships.
I have been in the acting industry since a very young child, Acting in theatre and local community productions.
From there, I went on to study theatre and film acting, studying Stella Adler, Meisner and Stanislavsky. I have studied acting at Second City as well as in several studios with over 1800 hours of study time.
I have taught over 2000 actors and have helped them to successfully prepare for their careers in acting. On average,70- 80% of my students have gone on to book work in film, tv and commercials.
My classes are interactive as I feel hands on learning in acting IS the only way. Students will learn through my various programs how to analyze and score scripts, build characters, relationship development, improv, auditioning techniques and method acting techniques.
