Ready to fall in love with painting? No painting experience is necessary.......Really! Just paint - a - long with Ms. Muse and by the end of class time, you will have created a masterpiece! To save a little time for the fun painting, we will all enter class with our paint already placed out, but will discuss the set up of the rest of our painting station together. Students will follow along step by step, as I paint details right in front of them. Headphones to cancel out any home background noise is extremely helpful. Students are encouraged to treat this as an Open class and engage as much as they prefer. I will demonstrate how the paint colors work together and we'll layer these to create beautiful paintings with depth. They will learn painting terminology and some easy to remember techniques that they can use in their own artwork. It's really exciting to see how proud they are of their work. If they choose, students can always share their masterpiece at the end of the class . (This is never required) I understand some painters are private and would prefer to just learn. Practicing our painting is key to developing skill. With my technique, Concepts will be revisited often to gain muscle memory and learn control. Watch as they improve with each painting they create! I offer a few fun painting classes everyday on Outschool. These are listed MONDAY through FRIDAY and I strive to upload a few NEW paintings each month! Be sure to follow my profile to notified ! Seated at a*Table ( easel is optional ) Please position ALL supplies on the side of canvas next to the hand you paint with . Supplies: Headphones are recommended . Protected table surface Paint smock and long hair should be tied back. 11x14 surfaces such as Canvas /canvas panel /canvas paper /watercolor paper/thick multi- media paper *Please note, the structure/ timing of the class is geared toward SPECIFICALLY 11x14 or smaller . This manageable size allows for ample time to work on each step, and for all levels of painters to enjoy success. 3 SHORT HANDLED brushes : (flexible, synthetic bristles please) 3/4 “ or 1 " Flat wash brush Medium sized ROUND brush ( size 8 ) Small sized /Detail ROUND brush with a nice point. ( size 3 or 4) 2 -3 Bowls of water EXTRA paper towels AND old cloth . Paint well to hold paints. Paper plate /cardboard for mixing ACRYLICS Black , bright blue , white , violet /purple, bright or dark pink , TINY bit yellow , orange , fluorescent red or pink ( we'll put out at the end of the class)
