In this one time class we will be painting an elf tree ornament. I like to paint on small wooden circles, but you could paint on smooth cardboard, a tiny canvas, or any number of sturdy services to make your beautiful ornament/painting. To create this ornament, will be using a pencil and acrylic paint. If learners have a hard time painting fine lines, a fine tipped sharpie or a black pencil crayon will help a lot. A blow dryer is also handy for this project. When I teach I lead by example....
Acrylic paint: yellow, red, purple and black, white Paint brushes: round #0 or smaller, flat 1in brush. Small flat brush. Small flat Damaged brush or fan brush. Blowdryer 3 Round wooden disks or small painting surfaces. Between 2-4inches squared. Fine tipped sharpie pen optional
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
