Students will learn to use acrylic paint to create magical portraits and fantasy landscapes. They will learn the importance of tones, values and brushstroke directions, and incorporate perspective and color theory into their paintings.

Beginner - Intermediate Level
This class is an ongoing format. Students will create a new painting every week. Each week is charged as a subscription on Sunday mornings. Students can join or leave the series any week. This class is designed for students who want to learn the art of Acrylic Painting while focusing on the use of principles of portraiture and perspective to create animal portraits and landscapes respectively. Basic color theory and color mixing will be explored as well as textures and techniques....
Teacher Brittany is a professional artist and illustrator. She holds a BA in Arts with a concentration on Visual Technology. She also gained valuable industry experience as Technology Lead and Animation Instructor at art schools. She has worked as a freelance concept artist and illustrator in game design. She utilizes a background in comics, storyboarding and animation to bring creative concepts to life. With a strong background in traditional and digital painting, Brittany is currently teaching a wide variety of classes in various mediums to merge her love for illustration, painting and game development.
