In this two day summer camp, students will be guided to create a dreamy scenery of a rainbow using acrylic paint. Students will learn about the element of art, Color, and they will also learn acrylic painting techniques as they blend colors and paint realistic clouds. I have a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts - Specialized in Studio Art from The University of Texas Pan American, and eight years of teaching experience teaching grade levels 6th - 10th in the classroom and online. Part of my professional background also includes writing curriculum for grades 6th - 10th and coaching art teachers.
Pencil, eraser, canvas (Example: 10”x10”), acrylic paint (white, black, red, yellow, and blue. Optional: pink, orange, and green.), paint brushes, cup with water, napkins, paper plate or paint palette.
1 hour 10 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
