Class Experience
Cameras will be asked to be ON during class for attendance purposes and progress. As you know, Outschool classes are specifically for children. Per Outschool's policy, each painter must be registered separately.
• Acrylic paints : Craft paints such as Apple barrel or Craft Smart dry quickly and have great colors *Choice of Background color White (+ extra white for final touches ) blue orange dark pink or red lemon yellow black green • 11x14 surface such as Canvas /canvas panel /canvas paper /watercolor paper/thick multi- media paper/wood *Please note, the structure/ timing of the class is geared toward SPECIFICALLY 11x14 or smaller . This manageable size allows for ample time to work on each step, and for all levels of painters to enjoy success. • SHORT HANDLED brushes : (flexible, synthetic bristles please) • 3/4 “ or 1 " Flat wash brush •Medium sized ROUND brush ( size 8 ) with a point or flat /angled brush • Small Detail brush with a nice point. • 2 Bowls of water •EXTRA paper towels •Paper plate for paints and one for mixing. SETTING UP YOUR PAINT STATION: Long hair should be tied back Paint flat on a protected table surface. Please position ALL supplies on SAME SIDE of table NEXT TO the hand you paint with . Computer/device to be faced directly ahead for head on viewing of student and painting. • A headset is recommended .
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
