Progress will be assessed through informal assessments. The students will be encouraged to share their art during each class period. They will also be encouraged to add their own creative touches to their works of art.Class Experience
Would you rather paint a picture or paint a fall-themed landscape acrylic painting? In this class, you can do both. You will learn a little about painting a landscape while we socialize. Each learner should choose their own paint colors. While there will be a demonstration, creativity is encouraged. Get your reactions and questions ready in case a game of Would You Rather breaks out. While we are painting, the learners will also learn different painting techniques to create their works of art. The class will be structured as follows: Greetings Demonstration Painting and Socializing Virtual Art Gallery I will teach using a demonstration of how to create the landscape we will be working on for each session. While we paint, we will socialize. This may include playing Would You Rather if the members of the class would like to do so. My teaching style is relaxed. I like to encourage students to add their own creative touches to their paintings. I like to point out the positive elements of the learner's art to help guide growth. The learners will get to interact with me and other learners throughout the lesson. Socialization is encouraged. There is no prior experience needed for the learners to create a Fall painting in the format being provided. *** I do not cancel classes due to low enrollment.
