Acrylic Painting Colorful Birds

In this one time art class, paint along with me as we make colorful birds on an abstract vine. Let's use brush stroke techniques and warm and cool colors to create a beautiful painting together.

Description

Class Experience

Students will learn about color mixing, blending, and technique while painting with acrylic paint.
Students will use color in new and exciting ways.
Students will gain confidence in their artistic ability by completing a new painting.
Some students will take longer than others while creating artwork. As I do not rush students, some time outside of class may be needed to finish.
*Acrylic paint must include white and black paints. Yellow, red, green, blue, and any other bright colors you would like. *Paint brushes in assorted sizes, such as: a small round brush for details, a tapered mid size brush, and a half inch flat brush. *Canvas or canvas pad. Approximately 8"x10". ***Please no oversize canvases, as your learner will not be able to finish during class time. *A palette for mixing paint. A piece of plastic recycling will often work nicely. *Water and paper towels. *Pencil *Newspaper or cardboard to protect table if necessary. Smock or clothes that can get messy if necessary.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
