>> Use code: MrsMagg20 for $20 off towards your first class on OutSchool << In this class students will learn some of the basics of painting such as mixing colors, using different paint brushes for different techniques and how to create contrast within our paintings. Through step-by-step instruction, I will break this class down into individual steps so that students will have an opportunity to ask questions about any part of the instruction. Students can follow my painting exactly or have the freedom to get creative with some of their own ideas and colors. Each week we will create a new painting (schedule listed below). This class is great for beginner and intermediate level painters. Each week, we'll be learning new techniques and how to apply them to our painting! Supply List: Canvas (size 8x10 or 9x12) Pencil Acrylic paints Paintbrushes Cup of water Paper towels Paper plate **Tip** You keep all of these things in a plastic bin so that it's easy to pull out and put away each week. Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi! I'm Maggie. I live in the Sunshine State with my husband and 2 boys. I've been teaching art for 11 years. My classes include a mix of educational classes, recreational classes and camps. I love teaching art because I believe what the hand does, the mind remembers so by adding a fun and artistic component children retain what they are learning so much more!
