Description
Class Experience
Cameras will be asked to be on during class for attendance purposes. As you know, Outschool classes are specifically for children. Per Outschool's policy, each painter must be registered separately. ___ To respect the privacy of children, my art and brand, I have elected to not share videos of my paint - a - long classes. I appreciate your understanding in this sensitive matter. A request for class transfer must be made PRIOR to the class start time.
CACTUS Acrylic Paint Colors White Yellow green blue orange pink ( your choice - dark, bright pink or flourescent ) Choice of background color 11x14 surface such as Canvas /canvas panel /canvas paper /watercolor paper/thick multi- media paper/wood *Please note, the structure/ timing of the class is geared toward SPECIFICALLY 11x14 or smaller . This manageable size allows for ample time to work on each step, and for all levels of painters to enjoy success. 3 SHORT HANDLED brushes : (flexible, synthetic bristles please) 3/4 “ or 1 " Flat wash brush Medium sized ROUND brush ( size 8 ) Small sized /Detail ROUND brush with a nice point. ( size 3 or 4) 2 -3 Bowls of water EXTRA paper towels AND old cloth . Paint well to hold paints. Paper plate /cardboard for mixing *Table top easel is recommended but not necessary. Flat on the table may be helpful for some painters. Please position ALL supplies on same side of table next to the hand you paint with . Depending on easel / table : Computer /device should be faced directly ahead, so the student can view easily.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
