1-2 hours per week. While I typically prefer to avoid assigning homework or extra assignments, there may be times when they are necessary to reinforce a student's learning process. If needed, I will assign tasks that help strengthen understanding and ensure the student is fully prepared. I will always communicate with you if this is the case.Assessment
Regular assessments will be conducted throughout the course to determine the student’s current level and identify any areas where they may be struggling. These assessments help me tailor the lessons to better meet the student's needs and ensure they are progressing effectively.Class Experience
What will be taught? This class will focus on preparing students for the PSAT, covering key areas such as math, reading comprehension, and writing. We will work on test-taking strategies, time management, and familiarizing students with the test format. What topics will you cover? Topics include algebra, geometry, critical reading, grammar, vocabulary, and essay writing. We will also cover strategies for tackling multiple-choice questions and practice with past PSAT questions. How is your class structured? Each class will be structured to focus on one or two specific sections of the PSAT. There will be a balance of instruction, practice problems, and strategy discussions to ensure comprehensive preparation. How will you teach? I will teach through a mix of direct instruction, guided practice, and interactive problem-solving. We will analyze practice questions and review answers in detail to build skills and confidence. What's your teaching style? My teaching style is interactive, supportive, and focused on helping students understand the material deeply. I make sure to explain concepts clearly and encourage questions to ensure every student feels confident. How much will learners get to interact with you? Students will have plenty of opportunities to interact with me through discussions, practice problems, quizzes, and interactive games. I will use slides, videos, and real-life examples to engage students and make the material more accessible. There will also be time for Q&A to address individual concerns and help clarify any questions.

Pre-Requisites
Basic math skills, such as multiplication and division, are required for this course. While I can assist with these skills if needed, it may take time away from the PSAT prep material. Please feel free to contact me if this is the case.
