Class Experience
This class is taught in Spanish.
Students will learn to write an essay with the AP Spanish Language rubric in mind and how to dissect their essay for the necessary details. Students will use rich vocabulary and grammar to write an essay for the AP Spanish Language Exam to present to their peers and instructor. Students will speak in Spanish during each class and do their best. Student will work in small groups to read and present their essay. Students will apply understanding of learning to improve their writing skills. Students will have fun and be challenged beyond what they think they can do.
Homework includes writing a practice essay.
Essential to this workshop: AP Spanish Language workbook (Barron's, Princeton Review, Jose Diaz, any one that you prefer) $35+
Direct/indirect feedback to each student as well as feedback to the entire class.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Each student needs their own AP Spanish Language workbook (Barron's, 5 Steps to 5, Princeton Review, Vista Higher Learning, AP Spanish (Jose Diaz)
