I hope y'all will join me in this one-time class where students will learn the basics of the Southern American accent and practice speaking with a drawl and twang.
Class experience
In this class, students will learn the unique pronunciations of the Southern American accent. They will practice the accent through voice exercises with the teacher and other students. After the voice exercises, students will be able to show off their charming accents with a monologue reading. The monologue will be provided for you with the Welcome Post once you have enrolled for the class. Note: Live participation is a must so that I can hear and help each student as they play with this fun...
Students will learn and practice some of the different types of Southern American accents, such as, the Coastal/Lowland Southern English and the Inland/Mountain Southern English.
