Learning Goals
Students will receive small group instruction, reviewing Spanish 1 curriculum. This class is designed for students who have already taken at least 1 semester of Spanish 1, and need a refresher before taking Spanish 2. Students will continue to grow in all 4 areas of communication, Reading and Listening (Interpretive) and Speaking and Writing (Interpersonal).
Other Details
Parental Guidance
I will be using Youtube via screen-share for supplemental videos that may help with Listening comprehension.
I may also use Quizlet in screen-share mode to teach students how to navigate all of the vocab review options the site has to offer.
I will use Google Slides in screen-share mode for me to present content.
I may use Google Docs to have students access digital notes (that could be printed if they choose to)
I may use Kahoot, Gimkit, or Quizlet Live to play vocab-based games.
Pre-Requisites
Students should have taken at least 1 semester of Spanish 1. Being that this is a REVIEW of Spanish 1 curriculum, we will be going at an accelerated pace. What we'll cover is meant to keep students "fresh" on Spanish 1 material.
Supply List
Paper/notebook to take notes on, a pencil, and an eraser. A laptop or chromebook would better than using an ipad, because we type answers in the chat often.
