In this ongoing course we will cover a full year of high school Geometry at an accelerated pace.

Class experience

US Grade 9
Intermediate Level
The students will:
- use geometry definitions, thereoms and postulates to build mathematical arguements
- use constructions to support definitions, postulates and theorems
- use lines, polygons and circles as structures to build deductive reasoning
I am a licensed mathematics teacher with 14 years experience teaching middle school and high school level mathematics. I have a proven track record with district, state, and national data to support my students' exceptional growth and learning.
Homework Offered
An assignment will accompany each lesson. As homework is considered practice, I also include an answer key so students can confirm answers.
2 - 4 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
There will be an optional assessment offered at the end of each unit. Students must complete all assessments to be eligible for a grade.
Grades Offered
Upon request. Students must complete all asessments to be eligible for a grade.
Students must have mastered pre-algebra skills, specifically solving equations and writing linear equations.
