This class, Accelerated Beginner French Camp - Part 4, builds on knowledge acquired in Part 1, 2 and 3. This includes: nouns, pronouns, regular verbs, irregular verbs, compound past tense, and pronominal verbs. If your learner is familiar with these concepts, they are welcome to join as well. The breakdown of topics during these 6 weeks: Week 1: Dialogue We will practice dialogue with the theme of introducing ourselves to somebody. Week 2: Common idioms We will discuss common expressions, and students learn to write what they hear Week 3: Working on speaking skills Students learn to properly pronounce words in texts, and practice conversation Week 4: Vocabulary: adverbs We will go over the adverbs and adverbial pronouns Week 5: Vocabulary about the body and clothes We will learn more words and expressions to talk about body parts and clothes Week 6: Conversation and review/wrap up We will wrap up this class with a review and conversation, consolidating speaking, writing and listening.
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to properly use French grammar and vocabulary to form sentences and questions in speaking and writing, and be able to understand basic spoken French.
