Accelerated Beginner French Camp - Part 3

This class is designed to deepen skills in French. It is especially geared for students who have completed Part 1 and Part 2 of the Accelerated Beginner French Camp.
We will beworking at the A1 level.
While this is still a beginner class, it builds on acquired knowledge.

Learners should be familiar with articles and nouns, pronouns, verbs in the present, compound past tense, pronominal verbs, and near future with aller.

The program of this course will focus on expanding vocabulary, verbs and tenses in French. We will also work on speaking and listening comprehension. 

I will use slides to present vocabulary and grammar in each lesson, which will be available as a PDF file after each class for students to view or download from the classroom page. The classroom page will be where I post both lessons and links to quizzes or worksheet assignments.

As we go through class, each student will be called on to pronounce various words or translate words or phrases. We will also have dialogues and conversation using the grammar and vocabulary from the lessons.

The class will consist of 12 sessions over 6 weeks.

These sessions will cover the following:

Week 1
- Review: introductions, nouns and adjectives
- Review: personal/impersonal pronouns

Week 2:
- Vocabulary building (regular and irregular verbs)
- Common idioms

Week 3:
- Pronominal verbs and reflexive pronouns
- Listening Comprehension

Week 4
- Compound past tense
- Writing practice

Week 5
- Vocabulary building (body parts & clothes)
- Text practice

Week 6
- Recap
- Conversation and games
