Advanced Placement (AP) courses were created by the College Board, an US non-profit organization that connects high school students to colleges and universities, and assists in their preparation for higher education. Essentially, AP courses are college-level classes that you take while you are still completing your high school degree. The curriculum for this course will be teacher created, but based on the College Board standards. Students from all over the world can take this class, but our US students/families might be interested in the curriculum based goals, so it will be College Board based.
