Class Experience

Accelerated Algebra One is a 16-week class that explores all of Algebra one. This is an Accelerated class and should be completed by learner who have a strong grasp of pre-algebra skills. If you learner struggles with math or isn’t confident with their pre-algebra skills, please check out Discovering Algebra one in 5 parts.

Before this class your child should know the following
•	How to add whole numbers
•	How to subtract whole numbers
•	How to multiply whole numbers
•	How to divide whole...

-Colored pencils
-ruler
-Graphing calculator
Your learner will need a graphing calculator. I will be using a Texas Instrument 84. You can also use a graphing calculator app such as Desmos or Geogebra. You do not have to make an account for either of these online graphing calculator or have to download if you use the web browser version of the apps. If you decide to download for offline use you will need to create an account. During class I will send students (who need it) links to the online (no account needed) calculator.
For some in class projects we will be using these products in order to share our work with the class.

**** Optional homework videos will be provided on the site knowmia. This is a video storage site, no account is needed on the learner part. The video's will be posted in the classroom so they can be watch in the classroom like a YouTube video
