Hello, I am a certified teacher with 10+ years of professional experience in the classroom and online! This ongoing 55 minute class is guided each week by the learner's interests and subject that they would like to learn more about with me. Your learner will receive a Mr. JohnCraft username from me that they can use to access my license for Minecraft Education Edition, which can be downloaded for free here: https://education.minecraft.net/en-us/get-started/download With this account, your learner will have a safe and secure learning environment with me where we have our own server so we won't be interrupted or have anyone we don't know joining the world. They'll be able to continue accessing my license between classes to independently practice their new skills as long as they have an ongoing subscription to one of my Minecraft Education Edition classes. Once the learner is logged in with their new login information that I will share with you, I will join them in the digital world of Minecraft Education to help them learn more about the subject that they are focusing on with me using a combination of guided lessons and open, creative exploration. I can share my screen and can control the private server that we will be on with Classroom Mode for Minecraft Education. I hope to see you soon! Parental Guidance
Grades: K-12 Minecraft can be used at any grade level to support and enhance instruction and learning. Minecraft is a complex game with potential for mild violence, so guardians should be aware of this before signing up.
The learner must download and install Minecraft Education Edition prior to joining the class on their PC, Mac, or iPad. Make sure you check the system requirements for Minecraft Education before you schedule this class if you aren't sure.
*Licenses can be revoked at my discretion if the learner violates Minecraft's usage guidelines and/or goes against any of Outschool's policies.

I am a teacher who has worked professionally for 10+ years. With experience from Kindergarten up to Grade 8 in the classroom and online, I am also a Kindergarten Specialist with additional qualifications in Special Education, Music, and Mathematics!
I teach a Kindergarten Sing-Along Circle Time, a Minecraft Coding & Creative Class, and a Minecraft Survival class for groups. I also tutor Accelerated English Programs for Early Literacy, Accelerated Mathematics Programs for Elementary and Secondary School Learners, Coding, Minecraft Education, GarageBand and more for 1-1 meetings.
My love of learning in my own life drives my passion for teaching. All learners are welcome! I encourage ESL, neurodiverse, and any other learners who think they may benefit from my programs to try them out!
