US Grade 1 - 4
Elementary students will develop three types of paragraphs in this class. The teacher will start each lesson with a video on the topic followed by reading examples paragraphs. Student will then get a chance to construct a paragraph aided by the teacher before writing their own paragraphs. The three types of essays included are: Opinion: Students will share their opinion on a topic using logical support. Narrative: Students will create a story using sensory details Summary: Students will read on a topic and then summarize the information. Students receive feedback on their writing immediately. The teacher accesses students' needs throughout the class and offers differentiated instruction when necessary.

I have a Bachelor's in Writing from Eastern Oregon University and a Master's in Elementary Education. I am certified as an Elementary Teacher and also an ESL Teacher with both a TESOL and state certification for grades 6-12. In addition, I have been teaching English as a Second language for over 10 years.
