In this dynamic multi-day class, students will learn how to develop paragraphs with different purposes.

Class experience

US Grade 1 - 4
Students will be able to write a paragraph giving information with supporting details.
Students will be able to write a paragraph where they make a claim and give supporting evidence
Students will be able to explain in an organized way how to do something.  
Students will increase reading and writing skills. 
I have a Bachelor's in Writing from Eastern Oregon University and a Master's in Elementary Education. I am certified as an Elementary Teacher and also an ESL Teacher with both a TESOL and state certification for grades 6-12.  In addition, I have been teaching English as a Second language for over 10 years. 
Homework Offered
Students are encouraged to write a paragraph based on the topic taught that day in class.
0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Students will be informally assessed on their writing skills with feedback from the teacher.
