1 hour per week. If you choose regular tutoring sessions, I can assign homework and projects to engage your child, improve writing, and strengthen Spanish and English skills while building confidence in communication. These real-world assignments make learning meaningful, practical, and ensure steady progress.
Assessment
If we meet regularly, I will gladly create a pre- and post-test or use progress monitoring tools to track your child’s growth and identify areas for improvement. This ensures a clear understanding of their progress and helps tailor future lessons to their needs.

In these engaging one-on-one tutoring sessions, I help learners improve academic writing skills in Spanish and English, tailored to their level and needs. Whether you’re just starting out or working on advanced skills, I can teach any level of Spanish and English and guide learners in writing sentences, paragraphs, and essays.  

We focus on essay structure, grammar, vocabulary, and critical thinking while exploring meaningful multicultural topics like cultural identity and global perspectives. I can also incorporate some French into instruction to support multilingual learners. Each session includes interactive activities like guided writing exercises, discussions, and personalized feedback. My supportive and adaptable teaching style ensures learners feel confident and empowered, with plenty of one-on-one interaction to make learning both effective and enjoyable.

Learning Needs
As an experienced teacher, I support learners with special needs by creating tailored routines, using multi-sensory strategies and repetition, and providing a patient, supportive environment to help them thrive academically.
Pre-Requisites
No prerequisites are required, but a basic understanding of simple sentences and paragraphs can be helpful. Students are welcome to choose a multicultural topic to focus on if they wish.
Supply List
1) Notebook or Paper: For taking notes and completing writing exercises.
2) Pens or Pencils: Basic tools for writing practice.
3) Access to a Computer or Tablet: For online sessions and any typed assignments.
4) Internet Access: Required for live sessions and accessing shared resources.
5) Optional: A bilingual dictionary (Spanish-English/French-English) or access to an online dictionary for vocabulary support.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Sources
We will refer to MLA and APA manuals as needed. We will discuss multicultural topics and sources approved by parents.

I am a multilingual educator with over 16 years of experience teaching academic writing, Spanish, French, and English to learners ranging from 3rd grade to adulthood. As a native Spanish and English speaker with some knowledge of French, I bring a deep understanding of language development and cultural nuances to my teaching.  

Throughout my career, I have taught in various settings, including classrooms, one-on-one tutoring, after-school programs, and specialized language courses. I have worked extensively with students of all ages, tailoring lessons to meet diverse needs, including those with ADHD, dyslexia, ASD, and English learners. My experience also includes developing engaging curriculum materials and designing personalized learning plans to ensure every student thrives.  

In addition to academic instruction, I have led Sunday school classes, established my own tutoring business, and created after-school programs, all of which reflect my dedication to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. My teaching philosophy is rooted in advocating for children and empowering them to become better learners through language support and meaningful, real-world connections.
