This class is meant for students that need one-on-one support or have trouble keeping up with a standard English class. The class will be arranged and planned according to the student's level. In other words, I meet the student where they are and help them excel to either get on-level or work ahead and challenge themselves. 

My tutoring and teaching services help students stay on top of due dates, write well thought out essays, read closely and analytically, practice critical thinking, communicate with teachers (and parents), build confidence, set goals, and stay accountable.

During the first week, I assess the student's level. The following focus rotation is used as a general foundation for the class. I believe consistency helps the students feel successful by allowing them to achieve small goals throughout the semester and building upon these achievements. 


Grammar and vocabulary will be taught throughout the entire semester through lesson extensions and warmups. Despite each week having a focus, students will be expected to read and write every week. 

This rotation may change based on student needs, grade level, or due to occasional longer reading & writing assignments.
