Class Experience

In this fun, abstract watercolor class students will learn two techniques to approach abstract painting. We will start with our first page and apply a colorful
background. Artists are encouraged to use their favorite colors and follow their inspirations at every point. Once our background is applies we will set this page aside to dry and turn our attention to our second page. Two pieces of watercolor or multimedia paper (I will be using 6”x9” size… students may use larger paper if desired, but this may result in their paintings taking longer than the class time to complete)
Watercolors paints (any variety)
Various sized paintbrushes, including a very thin detail brush
A cup of water
Paper towel

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
